Your new role
Development of backend components to enable data-driven software solutions
- Implement data transformation pipelines in batch and streaming to feed databases with aggregated data to serving layer;
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for the created jobs;
- Maintain all jobs with improvements and bug fixes as needed
- Planning and implementation of unit testing, automated integration, and load tests;

What you'll need to succeed
- Computer Science/ Software Engineering degree or minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field
- Deep understanding of application and infrastructure design in a cloud environment;
- Database: SQL and time series databases - Azure Data Explorer, Cassandra
- Data Analytics using log analysis, dashboards, SQL, Python
- Strong knowledge of Java development and knowledge on Scala or other functional programming languages
- Cloud stack: DevOps and cloud native development - knowledge of Kubernetes and Azure components desirable (Microservices)
- Experience in RESTFUL API development
- Experience in Software Development and DevOps
- Full fluency in English; Japanese beneficial
