Your new role

The Design Manager/Senior DM is responsible for interior projects and/or architectural design efforts within Japan. You will provide leadership in guiding project design with contractors and design consultants and help to establish design and construction strategies. Creation of monthly design reports, including design activities, project schedules and milestones, risks and issues. Review drawings and plans submitted by Architects and Design Consultants for conformance to the documented space and provide feedback based on our design content directions.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in related discipline, such as Design, or Architecture
• 10+ yrs' experience in designing mid-large scale projects. Min 3 yrs of leadership experience.
• Native Japanese, min business level English
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
• Understanding of architectural, engineering and design industry terminology and practices.
