Your new role

The Merchandising Manager is responsible for defining and leading the merchandising strategy for all product categories.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES

• To maximise growth and profitability to meet planned financial goals.

• To partner with internal departments in creating & implementing effective business strategies.

What you'll need to succeed

• Min 10 relevant years of experience, which is 4 years at managerial level.

• Proactive, outspoken, able to identify problems and provide solutions.

• Know retail operations well and are able to communicate directly with stores, knowing their needs and intentions.

• Strong leadership, able to coach and mentor.

• Good communication and relationship building (with different functions) so investments are properly launched in stores with maximum returns.

• Native Japanese and Fluent English.

• Both domestic and international travel are required.
