Your new role
Project Manager's responsibilities will include PM, such as managing work across a number of sectors, e.g. corporate fit-out, commercial refurbishment, and capital work across single engagements, repeat clients and portfolio clients across Japan. You will support a range of different industry sectors too. Plan, manage & control projects within budget, schedule & quality constraints. Coordinate & negotiate with vendors & contractors. You'll manage the full procurement process including tendering, evaluations and contract management on behalf of clients. You will need to be able to operate effectively in a team environment & be comfortable working independently.
What you'll need to succeed
- Min BA degree (or equivalent level) in architecture, construction management engineering, project management or similar.
- 5-10 yrs' construction/development industry experience.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving & decision-making.
- MS Office. AutoCAD software experience desirable
- Native level Japanese (reading and writing, as well as speaking) and fluent English
