Your new company

Our client is one of the most successful insurance products provider headquartered in the U.K. Their Japan operations have 50 staff and you will join a truly international, family-like and mature office environment. The Underwriting division is led by industry experts and they are looking to add 3-5 new headcounts, due to growing demand.

Your new role

Depending on your background, product exposure and future aspirations, you will cover some/all of the responsiblities below:

• Craft tailored insurance policies that meet the unique needs of clients, ensuring comprehensive coverage
• Analyze data to uncover hidden patterns and make informed decisions on risk assessment
• Protect the company's financial health by evaluating potential clients and determining appropriate premiums
• Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing expert guidance in Japanese
• Work closely with other departments, such as claims and sales, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service

What you'll need to succeed

• 2-5 years' experience in any function in Insurance & passion to learn (for Associate-level)
• 5-15 years' experience in specialised underwriting products (for Manager-level)
• Native-level Japanese & business-level English
• Strong interest in further developing their career working in a global company
• High interpersonal and multitasking skills
