International luxury goods company is looking for a Senior Legal Manager!

This multinational luxury goods company is at the forefront of its sector, serving worldwide, generating revenue across almost 50 stores and 20 brands in Japan. The company engages with different branches, such as Fashion groups, from Perfumes, Eyewear, to Watches and Jewellery. The company promotes modern and everlasting luxury without losing authenticity and care for the product. To capitalise on the company’s growth throughout times, they are looking for a Senior Legal Manager in the Tokyo Office.

Your new role

You’ll effectively work hands closely with the Legal Director, responsible for all Legal matters across all brands within the group. Advising & supporting on contractual agreements, licences, etc. Also, the opportunity to work closely with the Headquarters legal team on various up-and-coming global projects. Additionally, supporting the group’s compliance and governance issues.

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in a similar role within Legal will lead to your success, as well as:
  • Minimum 7 years in-house legal experience
  • Bilingual Japanese and Business English
  • Luxury, Retail or MNC industry experience is a plus
  • Strong Contract Management skills
  • Foreign or local bar qualifications are very welcomed
