  • Participate in regional and global development and project meetings.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and end users to gather and review requirements, providing design and enhancement suggestions.
  • Follow global development and change management standards to deliver quality solutions in a timely manner.
  • Engage in development, code reviews, and post-mortem activities.
  • Participate in release management and provide 2nd/3rd level support.
  • Work as a team player to solve local and global business problems while building a strategic platform for Global Equities.
  • Partner with the Equities production services team to ensure maximum system uptime and minimize business impact during issues.
    
    What You'll Need to Succeed
    
    
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or engineering.
    • 5–15 years of hands-on development experience.
    • Strong experience with object-oriented technology in C# or Java, with familiarity in both being a plus.
    • Ability to work with global teams in a matrix reporting environment with strong interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to cope with rapid front-office business needs and changing priorities.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills at multiple levels, with strong status reporting skills.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Fluent in written and spoken English.
      
      Technical Requirements:
    • Programming skills in C# or Java, with experience in both being a plus.
    • Understanding of relational database technologies, SQL/Stored Procedures, and in-memory caching technology
    • Understanding of infrastructure requirements for local/global delivery platforms.
    • Understanding of messaging infrastructures.
    • Understanding of compute farms, distributed caching, and computing is a plus.
