Your new role
As Facility Manager, Key Account Manager, you will manage a small on-site team, supporting a large, global IT client. The position will be largely responsible for day-to-day soft services, but will also include some work with hard services. It will be responsible for the client's main office site in Tokyo, as well as smaller sites in several other key locations in Japan. The role has local and regional report lines.
What you'll need to succeed
Min 2-3 yrs' experience in Facility Management (or similar). Good background in soft services, with at least a general understanding of hard services, such as engineering and critical systems. A third party vendor is responsible for this, so expertise is not required. Fluent Japanese with a minimum of business level English. Good understanding of monthly finances and budgeting. People/team management experience.
