A global Aerospace company that are growing their Security function; this position will contribute to expanding the Global Information Security Management System framework and particularly the risk management function directly under the Global Head of Security Governance.

• Lead and influence the governance, risk management and security policies & standards of a global company that is pioneering the removal of space debris.
• Manage and deliver our journey to ISO 27001 certification, demonstrating our commitment to the highest standards of information security.
• Participate in other exciting projects to support the security function and collaborate with other departments
• Advance your career and skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment
• Work with a diverse and talented team across various locations, mainly based in our Tokyo head office and closely aligned with our UK team

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for someone who skills and passion for some of the following areas:

• Knowledge of ISO27001; experience in implementing an ISMS framework either internally or supporting clients in deploying one.

• Experience in both Security & IT Risk Management.

• Passion for cybersecurity, keeping up to date with the latest cyber threats, technologies and trends.

• Strong linguistic ability; with proficiency in both English and Japanese.

• Ability to read and comprehend regulatory documentation (both English and Japanese) and write internal documents.
