Your new role

Based on an in-depth analytical understanding of the company’s brand philosophy and strategy, you will perform the following duties:

  • Create sales plans by product and propose demand forecasts (as well as purchasing order quantities).
  • Analyse seasonal product trends (Valentine’s, White Day, Christmas, etc.) and propose next season’s sales plans. These will be reviewed/agreed upon by the MD team and proposed to the marketing team.
  • Work with the MD allocation team to compile demand forecasts for the supply chain department’s ordering plans.
  • Collaborate with marketing and visual merchandising teams on new product launches, optimise stock-keeping units, pricing, launch timing, packaging, etc., and propose and execute promotions.
  • Work with the visual merchandising team to design and create seasonal store-specific product handling plans.
  • Conduct weekly/monthly channel and product-specific sales trend analyses and provide reporting support to the MD team and related departments.
  • Support the creation of materials for S&OP meetings and finance reports as well as ad-hoc data analysis.
  • Improve and formulate processes and data analysis (including collaboration with the IT team).

What you'll need to succeed
  • Over 5 years of experience in merchandising or sales planning in the retail industry (team management experience preferred).
  • Strong data analysis skills, including database management.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional environments.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Adaptable to change and quick to learn.
  • A dynamic, results-oriented team player who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach.
  • Business-level English proficiency (reading and writing).
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
