Our client, a global pharmaceutical company with a strong focus on speciality care, is looking to hire a RWD scientist for Japan. If you have experience related to epidemiology, observational research, real world evidence (RWE), real world data (RWD), outcome research or biostatistics and/or market access and are willing to specialise further in RWD, then this new position is for you.

Your new role

As RWD Scientist, your role will be to establish research design for RWD studies for the Japan office. - work with multiple teams, from clinical development to medical affairs and safety, to ensure real world evidence is used most efficiently in both scientific and commercial contexts - identify and gather real world data available in Japan - communicate with international offices about Japan's situation compared to other markets - attend events, seminars, conferences related to real world evidence

What you'll need to succeed

- Degree or previous work experience related to epidemiology, observational research, RWE, RWD, outcomes research - Work experience (ideally at least 2 years) in the pharmaceutical industry - Native Japanese and business English, to work with global offices - Strong cross-functional project management skills - Strong communication skills - Academic and Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to start projects and drive initiatives from scratch
