Technical Scientist for Global Biotech company

- Catalog products: Collaborate with team members in sharing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers, supply chain team, manufacturing team, and other internal and external partners regarding the potential customization of products in the Bioscience Division's portfolio, including cell culture and other related products, and manage customer inquiries, quotations, manufacturing requests, and manufacturing schedules.
- Collaborate with team e on custom products and align internally and externally on quotations and delivery dates.
- Implement technical sales activities mainly for catalogue products related to cell culture related products and regenerative medicine development products within the Bioscience Division's portfolio, involving customer meetings and other sales-related tasks.
- Collaborate with partners and team members in sales, marketing, and other domestic functions as well as APJ/Global individuals to devise and implement central initiatives.
- Conduct or coordinate internal product training sessions.
- Conduct or coordinate external product training, seminars, and demonstrations.
- Implement support activities for product launches and sales promotion.
- Report technical sales activities and team activities to appropriate persons.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Strong and effective interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Japanese for reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
- Ability to communicate in English (reading, writing, listening and speaking).
(Target: TOEIC 750 points or above).
- Demonstrated perseverance and ability to accomplish tasks.
- Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and facilitate appropriate information sharing.
- Residing in Japan and able to commute to our Mita office.
- Proficient in basic PC operations.
- Capable of delivering effective presentations both internally and externally.

- Master’s degree in a scientific field.
- Master’s degree in business or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Work experience in cell culture.
- Research experience in academia or corporate R&D in regenerative medicine, gene therapy, and cell therapy.
- Experience in customer facing.
- Leadership experience.
- Project management experience.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Marketing experience.
- Work experience with overseas partners (internal).
